The fragility of life seems to naturally become clearer when those closest to us pass away. I have been fortunate in life to experience this very little so far, but I was told earlier this week that an employee of a former client of mine, adidas Korea, died in a car accident on September 11th. He was adidas Korea's "WM Champion" which refers to the in-house expert on our warehouse management system. Not only was he young, he had a family and always went out of his way to help our consultants, including myself, while we were based in Korea working with adidas. In fact, I can't count the number of times he drove my self and my colleagues to and from the adidas Korea warehouse. We could have easily been with him at the time of such an accident…
I will fondly remember the last time I met him, during my last trip to Korea in December. We met and drank with my friends, simply enjoying a night together in the Korean way. I wish all the best for his family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time.
